"Learn To Sail With Confidence"

Bavaria 44

The Bavaria 44 is an awesome display of German engineering. The 2004 Bavaria was added to Charleston Sailing School in the spring of 2008. The interior volume and comfort is unmatched on any comparable sized yacht.

There are 4 cabins, all with hanging lockers.  A large saloon and galley seat up to 8 guests at a time. The galley includes a stove, oven, fridge, double sink, and grill. A full navigation station complements the interior nicely.  There are two heads, both with hot water sinks and showers onboard.  The mahogony interior repesents some of the finest boatbuilding in the world.

The yacht performs exceptionally well at sea, and is easily managed by a small crew. A Selden in-mast furling and Furlex headstay make "raising sail" a thing of the past. There are four 2-speed Harken winches on deck.  With duel helm stations and a large cockpit covered by a collapsible bimini and dodger, the Bavaria is made to go places in comfort and sty
le.

Hunter 306

The Hunter 306 is perhaps the best vessel to use when learning how to sail. She has a large cockpit, stable sailing characteristics, and is easy to dock.

A 10'9" beam boasts a spacious salon, as well as two private staterooms, one forward and one aft, a large head, a full-size galley, and even a nav station for charting your course! Eight opening hatches and ports provide plenty of light and the headroom is fantastic.

The large beam also gives the Captain and crew plenty of room in the cockpit. Deep, angles coamings make any passage a safe and comfortable one. The cockpit table and folding leaves makes entertaining easy. Two integral stern rails seats give the guests the best seats in the house!

Standard features include Rack and Pinion Steering, Lewmar self-tailing winches, a Furlex headsail furling, the B&R backstayless rig which Hunter is known for, and a Yanmar 18HP inboard diesel.
