Charleston Sailing School is an American Sailing Association certified training facility. Our Captains are all licensed by the United States Coast Guard and trained by the American Sailing Association to teach basic through advanced courses. Additionally, we offer bareboat & private yacht charters, worldwide yacht deliveries, and brokerage services. We are the only operation in South Carolina offering bareboat sailing charters and power boat rentals. Charleston Harbor provides an ideal setting for our customers to relax, learn, and enjoy the sport of sailing.
Charleston Sailing School is different than our competition because we offer smaller classes on larger yachts. Classes include no more than four students at a time (unless friends or family). Other schools put as many as six students on one small boat. Our yachts are all impeccably maintained. They are designed for ease of handling, comfort, and enjoyment. After completing the ASA Bareboat Chartering certification students are eligible to charter yachts up to 55ft around the world!
Charleston Sailing School is located downtown at the Charleston City Marina. We are just a few minutes walking distance from the historic and commercial districts. Charleston is renowned for its world class hospitality and fine Southern cuisine, and is consistently ranked as one of top 10 cities to visit in the U.S. by Conde Nast Traveler. Come experience the charm of the Low-country during your stay.
Charleston Sailing School is different from our competition in that our prices are a fraction of what other schools charge. Go ahead and do a comparison. We know you will come here if you want the best investment. Take a look around our website. Read the testimonials from other students. Compare our boats and our prices with the competition. Feel free to call and talk if you have any questions. Whether you want to spend a day sailing Charleston harbor, or weeks cruising the open ocean, Charleston Sailing School has a program for you. Let us show you how to "Sail with Confidence."
